Join the Sierra Club for a Park Ranger-led kayaking outing exclusively for Sierra Club Potomac participants to explore Theodore Roosevelt Island from the water!

Watch the ospreys dive for fish and count the turtles on the logs while crossing the Potomac and circling the Island. The outing will be approx. 1-2 hours and cover topics that span the layers of cultural and natural history found on Roosevelt Island.
Our Ranger guide will lead from Thompsons Boat Center on the Georgetown Waterfront and circle the island before returning. You may bring your own Kayak, or rent one from the boat center (see below for rental fees). Single Kayak: $16/hour
Double Kayak: $22/hour
Kayak launch fee: $5/kayak (if bringing your own)
