The American Chestnut Land Trust invites you to join them in their guided paddles up Parkers Creek.
May 26, 2018 (12:30 pm - 3:30 pm)
The American Chestnut Land Trust invites you to join them in their guided paddles up Parkers Creek, one of the most cared for and protected environments on the Chesapeake Bay's western shore. The creek is surrounded by 3,000 acres of wildlands and natural forests--leave civilization behind as you experience this marsh as visitors have for hundreds of years. Canoe trips are scheduled for Saturdays, with Sundays as the rain date. Trips are 3 hours long and challenging. Not recommended for children 7 and under. ACLT allows you the option to use their canoes (2 person) or you are welcome to bring your own canoe/kayak. As a non-profit charity, ACLT asks that guests help off-set the trip's expenses with a $15/person donation to cover insurance costs. 410-414-3400. Registration is required.
